Sustained support, help and advice
There is no doubt that loss of sight, whether from birth or during one’s lifetime, can be extremely challenging. And not only for people with visual impairment but for their relatives and friends too. Croydon Vision (the Croydon Voluntary Association for the Blind) was started in July 1923 and it has become one of Croydon’s premier voluntary organisations, supporting everyone touched by sight loss.
We provide information, advice and advocacy and a wide range of services to help those who are blind or partially sighted to live as independent, confident and fulfilled lives as possible. At Croydon Vision there is much encouragement, much to learn and a lot of fun to be had.
So whether you have visual impairment yourself, or are enquiring on someone’s behalf, just call us or pop in to our centre (see below). We’d be very pleased to see you or hear from you.
